It’s been a bit since I last updated here, so I thought I’d catch you all up. Lately, I’ve been splitting my time between a few different things. I’ve been applying to jobs here and there, keeping up with Duolingo, making LeetCode videos, playing some Teamfight Tactics, and of course, continuing development on Liar’s Chess.
For Liar’s Chess, the movement system is finally in place, which feels like a big milestone. Now I’ve got to focus on some of the more complex features like the kill mechanic, the turn system, and the “call bluff” system. Multiplayer is on the list as well, and I’m thinking of using PlayFab for that, but I’m still feeling a bit hesitant about the implementation. The art is still pretty basic right now too, but I’ll get to that later.
Oh I’ve also been doing some modelling for the 3D prints of my fob key and 2CR5 Battery casing thats going to be made from CR123A 3Vs. This is going to be a small project that’s going to allow me to USB charge my old film camera that I picked up from an auction. If this is successful, might as well think of creating numerous amount of these USB chargeable 2CR5 batteries. Or at the very least make a video about it? (idk)
In other news, I’ve got a church retreat coming up soon. I’m hoping the time away will give me a bit of a reset and a productivity boost. Maybe I’ll come back more energized to tackle all these things on my plate.
Oh, and I just hit a small milestone with my LeetCode series – I’ve posted my 10th video! Here’s the link to the latest one.
