Missed a Few Days, But Here’s the Update
Yep, I’ve missed a few days here and there again—but hey, life happens. There’s still some exciting progress to share, so let’s dive in.
1. Officially an AWS Cloud Solutions Architect Associate!
First things first: ya boi is now an AWS Cloud Solutions Architect Associate! 🎉 The exam was ridiculously hard, and honestly, I didn’t think I’d make it. It was a nail-biter—I passed by just 2%. One wrong answer, and I’d be out a hundred bucks. Talk about clutch.
Oh, and the exam was at 8 AM, so with my messed-up sleep schedule, I had to stay up all night beforehand. Twice. In just four days. 🥴 But hey, the good news is it’s finally over, and I can sleep soundly tonight. Like, really soundly. It feels amazing to have this weight off my chest, especially during times when everything else seems chaotic. Small wins like this really hit different. 😌
2. Back to the Chess Game
Not much progress on the Liar’s Chess game lately, but now that the AWS exam is done, I can give it my full attention again. Time to dive back into the code and make some real progress. Expect updates soon!
3. Fixed Portfolio Responsivity
Here’s a long-overdue update: I finally addressed the responsivity issue on my portfolio. This has been sitting on my to-do list for, like, 3–4 months, and I’ve been procrastinating hard on it.
A bunch of comments on my Reddit portfolio critique pointed it out, so I figured it was time to get my hands dirty. After some tweaking and testing, it’s now fully usable on mobile devices. It’s nothing fancy, but it feels so satisfying to check this off my list. These little nitty-gritty tasks might seem small, but completing them is such a good feeling.

4. Personal Updates
- Exercise: Still haven’t started. 😂 But it’s on my radar. Maybe next week?
- Duolingo: Streak is still going strong. At least one goal is alive and well!
- Reading: Slowly but surely getting into the groove with this one too.
5. What’s Next?
I’m aiming to publish the Liar’s Chess game by the end of this month at the very least. Fingers crossed that everything comes together. I’ll keep you updated as I chip away at it.
